Emmanuelle Husson placed her first microphones in 1996.
She hasn't stopped since — or barely.
Twenty-seven years of stages, control rooms, RF coordination and audio-over-IP networks.
From 300-seat rooms to 80,000-capacity stadiums.
From musique concrète studios to Paris fashion shows.
From presidential ceremonies to world-music festivals in Morocco.
What drives her hasn't changed:
making sound serve the moment.
Letting the technology disappear behind the emotion.
So the artist, the conductor or the organiser can trust her with their eyes closed.
A CAREER BUILT IN THE FIELD
Emmanuelle didn't come up through a prestigious sound school. She built herself in the field.
An assistant technician from 1997, she rose through the ranks project by project — sound engineering, front-of-house, RF coordination, live recording, show control, product manager, technical journalist, trainer.
Each role added another layer of understanding across the whole audio chain.
In 2016 she founded Radioactivitées, to work differently: to offer end-to-end solutions, think projects through from the outset, and design the technology rather than simply cope with it.
In 2019 she took a further step, creating Anacrouse — a proprietary Audio over IP solution for symphony orchestras, developed with Merging Technologies. An innovation that redefines how an orchestra is captured and monitored in live conditions.
